Never Write This on Instagram [posting art on social media]

When posting your art online it can feel awkward to talk about it. Your caption can be pretty much anything but just make sure you don’t say sorry for posting art in the first place. You want to be engaging but don’t set up the conversation like this is the funeral of your art. Make it a party =)

When setting tone for your post make sure you get the tone you want, to come across in the first 2 lines.

Great video! Loving your own work is often really hard for art students, I've found, maybe because there's outside evaluation involved. So a student will externalise enjoying the art or appreciating the work put in to teachers and people around. I think that's what some artists seek on social media as well.
