Yeah dude, since the last time you saw them: They are even more durable, nearly waterproof, and the optical fiber fixture is now removable/modular, which means we can start developing different attachments AND the RGB LED unit acts as a detachable RGB flashlight in a pinch!

They are quite durable. Aluminum housing and acrylic fibers. About the worst that can happen is you crimp one fiber here and there. Then you cut off the fiber at the crimp and it becomes a shorter point of light.

The current model is not programable, but has 12 modes all of which are pretty cool. Over the next year it is likely we will design a higher end one that IS programable.

Awesome man, love it. Do you happen to have any knowledge about LED whips that crack, or behave like a leather or nylon whip etc?

Have thought about it for a while and wondered about plaiting el-wire, or integrating el-wire into a nylon design? Would love to hear your thoughts, or if you have come across decent led whips at all? peace

It's not painful unless you play really rough with it. You do want to be careful of peoples eyes though (and your own).
