I saw this scene when I walked into the living room when my parents were watching when I was maybe about nine and it gave me nightmares for weeks. It still scares the shit out of me.

For a good part, the feminine carmine red clothing of these sadistic creatures added to their perverse and sick gaze as well as their reverberated duck voice, all in a decor of skinned animals and shades of red / blue, pushes back the limits of horror to the most crazy comic.

I have no idea why but I was always fascinated by this scene. I was about 3ish years old when I saw this movie... Didn't remember it till turned sixteen... last year. I went 13 years thinking I dreamt this scene lmao.

This movie scared me when I was a little girl. ESPECIALLY this scene where they swapped the lady’s head and dog’s head...

I had nightmares and couldn’t go back to sleep in my room. So I snuck into my dad’s room, and slept under my baby brother’s crib, with my blanket and pillow until morning.


Why did my dad have to make me watch this movie??

I kinda liked the part where Godzilla made a 5 second cameo and then the Martians switched the channel to Dukes of Hazzard. It would’ve been really satisfying if Godzilla had more screen time, so we can see him annihilating the Martians. At least in Japan.
