Number 4 is SO obvious but I have never thought of it it before! I just tested it super quick and it really does make zooming in and out waaaay easier.

Stems and tracks are not the same thing. stems are groups of tracks, typically representing major portions of the arrangement, exported together. For example, all of the drums exported to a single file, or all of the guitars, all of the backing vocals, and so on.

The individual tracks are... tracks.
