This reminds me of that moment in early to mid October, the first day of the year where a cold front has come through and it's grey and you can smell burning leaves in the distance and everything oozes that 'beginning of autumn' feel. I live in the coastal mountain range in northern Oregon where there's tons of mist and fog most of the year, moss dripping off the pines.. the scent of earthen moss and salt in the air from the ocean is truly the best antidepressant I know of and I love taking walks along the labyrinthine trails along the forest cliffs over the sea listening to stuff like Max Richter (or anything on Deutsche Grammophon), Joep Beving, Library Tapes, Jacaszek, etc and this will definitely be added to my playlists this fall! Very evocative melody, hauntingly saudade.

I got trapped by a narcissist. He was so obsessed, so needy so anxious when I met him… I couldn’t leave him, his tears were stronger than me.. I wanted to take his pain away. after 3 months knowing him I got pregnant, he was waiting until I’m 23 weeks pregnant and once he knew I won’t be able to do an abortion, he started his abuse. That little boy that I held in my arms was an demon that just waited for the moment to tear me apart..I’m alone, my family lives in another country and they are very poor, I’ have hyperemesis gravidarum, it’s a severe nausea and vomiting that last till the end of pregnancy..I can’t work at the moment, I’m 29 weeks too weak physically and emotionally. I listen this melody… when I listen it I feel calm, strong and sad and I think about future. I can’t give up. I need to fight for my daughter. I’m scared I’m angry I feel defeated, humiliated and raped, but I won’t give up. I will rise and I will rise so high and I’ll be so strong so powerful I’ll look down on him from above the sky, holding my daughter, he will cry but this time I’ll walk away to our free and peaceful life.. I will hold my daughter in the ocean in the late evening and we gonna look up at the sky, water is so warm, sky full of starts, moon 🌙 is so bright, palm trees waving friendly on us. We will both smile and I’ll give my gratitude to god and I will feel sooo peaceful so protected like never before in my life and my daughter peacefully smiling because she feels that her mom is strong as a mountain and nothing can break her. It’s true my baby nothing will break your mama and it means you are protected by me forever, even when I die I will be the highest mountain that will protect you from anyone who wants to hurt you ❤
