HRC RS250 NF5 by TYGA Performance

Показать описание
Start up of HRC NF5 RS250 GP bike restored by TYGA Performance.
This bike was bought as a rough but mostly original 1990 model. Rear wheel was aftermarket and there was no bodywork. The bike has been given a full nuts and bolts restoration with as many new parts used as we could source. Some parts such as the exhaust silencers we could not find so they were completely dismantled and rebuilt with the dents knocked out. Frame required a lot of attention. Engine rebuilt with new top end, bearings, seals etc. Some TYGA parts fitted to replicate the stock HRC ones such as upper stay, foot peg hangers, plastic bungs and T clips for bodywork.
For the experts out there who spotted some parts are not correct for the 1990, well done! We replaced the front end with the 1992 one and the bodywork is also 1992. Both were chosen for cosmetic reasons. We chose the 1992 HRC brochure colour scheme because it is a classic for that period in Honda's history. The red is a fluorescent shade as would have been used by the factory. Decals made in-house at TYGA.
After six months of enjoyable research, sourcing, labour and spannering, we are really pleased with the result. The bike rides as good as it looks which is pretty much as it would have done brand new. With its racing days over, it will now be used for the occasional track day or display purposes only.
