Where to install the Water Bonding Fitting and what it's for.
Always install it on the pipe feeding water to the pump, meaning right before the pump. I like to make a habbit of pointing the fitting downwards a little to guarantee full contact with water at all times.

On new pool constructions you want you water bond in the lowest point possible but still visible for the inspector. You can also water bond your pool thru the skimmer

So GFI is worthless then..all this seems overkill..
My pump is plugged onto a gfi receptacle, which the power source is plugged into a GFI. Is this not enough?
