Honestly I consider this canon. Yusei was, at that moment, completely convinced that the Signers' job was done and they could lead their relatively-normal lives again, only for the Ark Cradle to burst out of the sky and dash his hopes by giving him one last mission, and making it a doozy.

Everyone's getting mad at this but honestly? I'm just glad this dub tried to have some kind of ending despite not wanting to, or potentially not being able to, dub the final arc (which admittedly is way better than the two arcs before it and I wish it had been dubbed). It's way better than abruptly ending on the note of the main protagonist dying.

Fortunately I got to watch the final season. I grew up watching 5Ds in Italian and the local broadcasting station in Italy dubbed the the remaining episodes as well as GX season 4

That's why I say, it'd be nice if old animes like Yu-Gi-Oh or Sonic X could get a redub like with Sailor Moon or DBZ Kai. Cuz otherwise, you'd be better off watching the original Japanese version.

Us Italians have to thank the fact that the 4kids did not dub the final season because otherwise we would have taken the 4Kids version and not the original one.

I was so confused watching this in the dub like it all ended just like that? Nothing else about Sherry or where Bruno came from or why he was "Vizor", etc. This is and GX really got shafted in their dubs 😔
