Making throws a true counter to reversals & armour was one of Tekken 8's best changes. They're sometimes used in high level play now.

I think they're too nerfed... Getting hop kicked when attempting a reversal makes me never want to use them, which I guess is the point.

Just to add, Jun's amaterasu stance can reversal your throw attempt so do not throw for that

They updated the sound it makes when you throw a reversal. You get the generic counter attack sound now.
