There is one specific merit to using neutral guarding. By neutral guarding you reduce the pushback from your opponent's moves, things like Bryan ws1, Heihachi ff2, Paul deathfist etc, can be punished more easily if you utilize neutral guarding successfully.

This video could have also mentioned that sometimes when you're -9 after having your move blocked, if you don't hold back you can still get punished with a i10 move.

Up until now, I have known all tips and mechanics you gave in the series. But neutral low guarding is new to me... Explains quite a few matches' ends I had over the years.

OMG, so THAT'S why the second kick of Heihachi's hits me, 0:13. I used to be SO confused by that, I always assumed it guard broke me or was unblockable or something.

@ 0:11 You didn't mention that anything that puts you in block stagger can float you if you don't hold B while N guarding, you also cannot block using D if you are staggered in N guard but I guess it depends on how minus you are on frames. You should be using D to block lows like Hellsweeps, d+4's or strings with lows that put you in plus or neutral frames, you cannot block with D if you get hit with the first attack of a string. You should always use D/B if you are hit by the first hit of a string or if you are in minus frames.

Lars Silent Entry 1 (aka SEN1) is minus ten but can only be punished if you neutral guard, otherwise the pushback is too grea for jabs to reach.

I hope at least one person on earth benefits from this information

the last one really important since all the time people just says just duck 2nd hit of king's alley kick while i cant even blocked it but i already pressed down. im really think like i am the dumbest guy on earth because i cant block alley kick until i pressed db and i was like, NOBODY TELLING ME THIS SHIT BRUH OF COURSE I CANT BLOCK THIS SHIT I WAS PRESSING DOWN THE WHOLE TIME

some moves in tekken shouldnt break neutral guard, like Asuka's can can, i've lost the count of how many times i got hit by this move when i was moving or waiting for opponents reaction.

I feel like the comment sections on these videos usually tell me more useful stuff than the actual video lol

Useless trivia, but shin akuma(the boss fight version) also neutral guards, he neutral guards EVERY hit that isnt an unblockable
