Congratulations! You are the first Youtuber to put aps-c conversions in to give your comments meaning. I use a 24mm lens on a 1.6 crop for indoor photos and it is one of my favorite lenses.

I love that you put the APS equivalency to the full frame lenses. Great video!

Ugh finally a video that helped me decide. I’ve been going back and forth between 35mm and 50mm this whole week, but watching this video I realized I do prefer the more context in the 35mm.

I like the idea of discussing them deliberately and separately like this. I see so many people suggest to just get a zoom and figure it out then buy primes. Like, that *can* work but it often *does not* work. Beginners are not deliberate about their focal length choice, they don't shoot for long periods at one length, and they do succumb to convenience to the point where they don't even consciously choose a specific focal length.

Personally, I love 28 and 85 tossed in a 3L crossbody. Punchy, classic, "in the pocket" 28, subtle, compressed, versatile 85. But anything is fun!

I'm a retired news agency photographer, and my favorite lenses for shooting street is my 35mm f2 and my 24mm f2

I use the 28mm f/2.8 Z-lens on a Nikon Z50, for an equivalent 42mm lens, so about half-way between a 35mm and a 50mm.

Man the music is on point. Is it from Epidemic, Artlist and services like those?

Thank you for this relaxing comparison sir Kebs! Started using 35mm fov for streets but then shifted to 50mm lately. Hoping to go out and shoot street every single day just like I did before :(

This is a good video on choosing which lens(es) to use for street photography. It's very informative, especially with the example photos and videos. By the way, it's nice to see those scenes from Makati.

This was excellent. I'm debating between which prime to buy for street photography, and this video is perfect. Having the FF equivalent, plus real life situation with different perspective of the GoPro vs. the lens. Perfect. Thanks!

I use the 50 most often because it's my smallest lens. But I'd rather have the 85 though (don't have one yet). I'm not very comfortable being close to my subjects. Good video bro!

My favorites is 50mm (aps-c) so I don't need talk with stranger, but I feels like need to learn using 23mm (aps-c)

Hey just wanna say thanks for showing actual shots and content in your videos, I'm so sick and tired of seeing all these YouTubers just sitting in front of their camera in their studio with fancy lighting talking but not showing actual photos and video samples, a photographer/filmmaker should be behind the lens not in front! Cheers.
