Yay!! Went looking for you online and glad there was a newer video to be found 😁 It is so interesting how so many of us in the Lord can be going through similar things at the same time. I was searching for a word, for something relatable through many outlets from preachers and such but nothing was resonating with what is going on in my heart and mind but your video hit the nail on the head! What you spoke on regarding depression and feeling burned out and also feeling unenthused about things until something comes that sparks your interest is so on point! Needing something to bring about hopes and dreams and joy again. It can really suck after feeling depressed and stuck for a while. Also yes so many have multi-faceted interests and talents and it's worth it to explore them all, as well as to find new ways of earning income!
Still hoping and praying for you that the right partner comes into your life at the right time and I'm so glad you're seeing now with eyes of faith a bit more as in believing that while you are living life and you're not looking, often that is when things happen, but it is okay to desire!

I was vicariously living the nomadic life through videos like these but your videos gave me a lot to think about. I was my mother’s caregiver for 11 years after having lived abroad for 13 years. I was very independent and enjoying my life, and even thinking that I was going to be an expat forever. All that changed 11 years ago and the depression and anxiety got even worse after I found my mother deceased in her bed exactly 5 months ago. I’m still dealing with the grief and even more desperate to leave this entire area forever. It doesn’t help that I’m still living at the same home where my mother died but I’m living with my dad who’s 89 although very healthy. Do I go out on my own or continue living here with him since we are called to serve? I’m getting rid of my cars—my mom’s car that I inherited and my car that I hardly drive. I’ll most likely buy an e-bike as my primary mode of transportation. But then again, I’m tempted to buy something like a Subaru suv where I can carry one of my bikes and even use it as a hotel when I travel somewhere for the weekend. I’m praying for Adonai’s will for my life because I’m fast approaching my 60s.

Hi Allison, long time no see! I know you’ve been praying for Pearl and I wanted to give you an update. She’s two years in her rarer children’s cancer now and chemo stopped working last year. She recently was admitted to a children’s immunotherapy trial which will begin very soon. We are all feeling positive again and hopeful that the Keytruda children’s trial will work and that things will begin to shift, putting her into remission. I so appreciate all the prayers from the Travel Snacks community.

Hey girl, I’m still here following you and thinking about you a lot. Especially as I get ready to start living in my car soon. Watching you go through things in life and especially family/friends type of situations have helped me feel less alone and depressed. I’m going through my own stuff with family and it really hurts my heart. Seeing a “friend” lol like you going through similar things really helps me. I’m an introvert but I’m also not…I love people, value relationships and community but I also need to have my lone life. If that makes sense?
