Reggie was before his time. If Reggie Bush was a rookie in 2017 he would be the most explosive player in the NFL. When he was drafted there was no "slot RB" position.

Now with players like Alvin Kamara, Darren Sproles, Chris Thompson, Tarek Cohen, James White etc. he would have a legit position and a role on any offense. The problem is when he was drafted every team was looking for a 3 down, between the tackles RB. Now everyone wants a 1-2 down back, and that's exaclty what Reggie was meant to do in the league. Despite that, people often forget he was a very key part in the Saints' super bowl winning team. Reggie was a great player, would have been a potential Hall Of Famer if his career started 7-10 years later than it did.

I'll never concede that Reggie was a bust. Being a bust means being hyped and not being good, Reggie is a very good player.

when he was 100 percent healthy he was the most elusive back in the league and was a monster

Miami had the perfect offense for him. I felt like they were the only ones who used him like an actual RB

Lmao he did the Cardinals so dirty in this video. Reggie will always be one of my favorite players of all time, dude was a beast at USC.

Still a heisman winner. First of the hybrid backs that are all the rage in the NFL today. Imagine a rookie Reggie Bush getting drafted by today’s saints...

That Juke against the cardinals is arguably the nastiest juke in NFL history no debate!!

This dude was one of the top athletes I've ever seen in college. Sad to see his NFL career didn't live up to his college hype. Still a good player and great video.

I remember that 06 Draft with him, Vince Young, Mario Williams, Matt Lienard, Jay Cutler ...

And my favorite; Maurice Jones-Drew.

It's crazy how I've watched their NFL careers start and end.

I wouldn't call him a bust he was on a New Orleans team that didn't have a good line until he left, right after he left he had 3 straight 1, 000 yard season

Bush, Brees, and Colston are the reason I became a Saints fan since 2006

He has to be one of the most electrifying running backs that I've ever seen.

Good highlights but missing so many clips from his younger days. Missing two very nice punt return touchdowns in same game vs vikings. Adding those would just showcase his amazing open field ability even more.

He earned everything he gained. Through blood, sweat, and tears this man was a literal human highlight reel his entire career. If he was in the RB position his team had a chance. Give this man back the Heisman that he came and took.

I loved watching him play in New Orleans, and even after he left. I just wish he was utilized properly in his career, he had so much more potential
