An exciting new way of cleaning the hull
of your yacht or boat without hauling it.

Keelcrab, made entirely in Italy,
is an underwater robot carrying out
automated cleaning and hull inspection activities without you having
to take your boat out of the water frequently.
Designed mainly as an instrument to optimise hull maintenance and hull cleaning of sailing boats (of any size), yachts and maxi yachts, with a particularly pleasing result at the waterline and on the planing parts.

It cleans the build-up of slime and light fouling that most yachts pick up after just a few months in the water. These slime and fouling creates the perfect condition for the eventual growth of barnacles which will damage your hull and anti-fouling paint when removed.

Thanks to the two powerful LED lights and a sharp
digital camera you can inspect the hull, propeller,
stern drive or anodes of your vessel without a diver or crane.

Whilst we are doing this, you can even monitor the underwater progress by using a build in wifi hotspot.

Optionally, it is also possible to take underwater photos & videos and save them on a micro SD memory card, which is integrated in the electrical control panel.
