Kenwood Chef Titanium KM030
Die Maschine ging nicht mehr, Ursache war wohl der Motorkohlenstaub auf der Hauptplatine. Nach einem Reinigungsbad in Isopropanol war die Funktion wieder gegeben.

This is an excellent video. I disassembled a KM001 6 years ago, took some photos and still have associated screws in separate boxes, I ordered a new electric motor then and now my wife forced me to put this all together. Thanks to this video the task was possible. Thanks a lot you saved my world! ;.) Kind regards from Germany!

Thank you for this excellent video. I used it as a guide to dis-assemble the top part of my Kenwood Chef Major Titanium KM020 to find out why oil/grease was leaking out of the gearbox. The cause was that the little (screwheaded) bolts + nuts that hold the 2 parts of the gearbox case together had become loose.
After I cleaned all the leaked oil/grease away, the fix was to remove each bolt and its associated nut, clean the threads on the bolt + nut, put Locktite on the nut threads, then put the bolt + nut back into the gearbox case and screw it tight. The Locktite will stop the bolt + nut from vibrating loose again. NB: final tightening of all the bolts must be done evenly in small turn increments in a cross-hatch pattern to prevent distortion of the gearbox case, and more leaking of the oil/grease

Also ein Dankeschön.

Thanks! This is a very helpful video to dissemble the Kenwood. I have a Kenwood Cooking Chef KM020 and need to change the small drive pulley. I cannot find any opening to release the tension pin. Does anyone know how to loosen the small drive pulley from the turning shaft?

hello Crossfader X- my Kenwood works perfectly BUT was missing some parts for the lever assembly. I see in your video @ 5:42, this peice is missing. I just bought all of the lever assembly parts from a Delonghi servicer in the US but didn't include this part. The issue with the mixer is that it does not lock down into place. I think this part keeps the mixer into lock position so that I can use it. Right now it just bounces open. I sent your video to the servicer but they are not responsive to my requests. Would you have that spare part available or any advise as to what mechanism locks the mixer?

Thanx for a great video. Our KMM020 have started to smell a bit burned while running. Is it normal to change the brushes on the electric motor?

Thank you for the great help! Excellent useful video! Do you know by chance the parameters or marking/model of Hall sensor on the motor? Sensor is faulty but I can't find neither marking on it nor any description. It's too expensive to replace complete motor assembled because of faulty sensor.

Thank You for detailed and informative video!

One question: when comparing COOKING CHEF XL (latest) and TITANIUM CHEF XL (1, 700W, old model)

- is the motor the same ?

- is the planetar/reduction mechanical module the same ?

Thank You a lot!

It's not clear how to unmount the fan (11:50). I figured out its good to have something long and thin to use it as a lever close to the axis. I was not able to do it by hand.

In my km040 if I press the "start" button it turns on, but if I press it again it DOES NOT turn off. I also had this problem in the past and after a couple of weeks it disappeared. today, after a couple of years, he has returned.

Hello, my problem is in the front planetary sealed assembly. I cannot get it open without removing the large white plastic gear on top, and I have no idea how to get that off to reach the last screw underneath it. It is the one thing you don't seem to disassemble in the video. Can you tell me how to do this?? Thanks, you're my last hope before I buy a new one but this is such an excellent mixer.
