The full details of the soundtrack album for DreamWorks Animation’s feature The Wild Robot have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Kris Bowers (Bridgeton, King Richard, Green Book, Secret Invasion, Haunted Mansion, The Color Purple, Dear White People, Space Jam: A New Legacy). Also included is the original song Kiss the Sky co-written and performed by Maren Morris (previously released as a digital single), as well as the end credits song Even When I’m Not by the singer/songwriter.

The Wild Robot is written and directed by Chris Sanders and stars Lupita Nyong’o, Pedro Pascal, Catherine O’Hara, Bill Nighy, Kit Connor, Stephanie Hsu, Ving Rhames, Matt Berry and Mark Hamill. The animated sci-fi adventure is based on Peter Brown’s bestseller of the same title and follows the journey of a robot that is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island and must learn to adapt to the harsh surroundings, gradually building relationships with the island’s animals and becoming the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling. The movie premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival and is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Universal Pictures.
