This movie was like an apology for creating megamind 2, and i accept this apology.

My husband surprised me with tickets to see this movie two days ago. And I have not recovered. 2:00 when that music swells just hit so hard and I broke down. I couldnt stop crying the whole movie. I looked over at my son next to me.
I am a step parent. I met my son was he was 5, small, and needed a mother. I didnt know what to expect. I didnt know what to do. But i knew from day one... I'd do anything for this boy. To step into that role as a parent with absolutely no knowledge of what to do, are you doing it right, are you doing it wrong, its terrifying.
And i wouldnt have it any other way. I love you son.
