HOW TO CREATE A YOUTUBE END SCREEN TEMPLATE / One of the biggest tricks to increasing your authority on YouTube is increasing your watch time. But one of my little secrets is in the end screens, and how I use end screens. In this video I'm going to show you how to create your own ninja end screen for your channel for each video so that you can use this to your advantage to increase your watch time and increase your authority.

End screens encourage viewers to take action and extends the watch time on your YouTube videos. The problem with the end screen templates that YouTube provides is that they don’t include calls to action on the template, so it’s not obvious to viewers what action to take. That's why it's best to find custom templates (there's lots of free ones) and customize them in Canva or Photoshop.

Sunny...what a great video!!! The only part I didn't understand was at 6:10 into the video, you need more details about how exactly you shrank the video size down to make it fit into the box! I've watched this over and over, and I still cant figure it out. Does this make sense to anyone else, or could you help explain to me how to do it?

Loved this! I designed my most recent end screen with the blocks and circle and then took out the boxes/circle before downloading so the shadows aren't behind the videos/subscribe elements...just in case they end up a little off from each other in the end. It also gives me a little more freedom with placement when I upload the elements. I don't have to be as exact. Just a tip!

☀️REASONS YOU SHOULD USE AN END SCREEN☀️

One great thing about end screens is the fact it gives you another opportunity to showcase other content you may want your viewer to watch, thus increasing your watch time and keeping them on the platform.

Furthermore, you can utilize call to actions to lead them to a website of yours or to download something.

Even if you want to promote another channel of yours or someone else's you can do that too.

The power is all within your control with an end screen and it's up to you how you want to use it.

By not using one, you are wasting opportunities.

*1 PRO TIP that you may want to consider with end screens is the amount of time allocated towards them.*

For example, if you aren't on the screen and you only have an end screen template you may want to go with a shorter end screen (5-8 seconds) versus a longer one (15-20 seconds) that way your retention percentage isn't affected as much since most people will drop off right away.
