I really love this channel....I'm far too old for it, but still love it.
However, real fur? Seriously, I'm genuinely shocked.
I've never commented on any of your videos but felt compelled to on this.
Please don't advocate for the fur industry, it's a brutal, inhumane process. I so disappointed.

Hi Hope! These clothes are "White Labelled, " which means that they are wholesale designs that any brand can have their label sewn into (for a price). That is why the pieces are also sold elsewhere. This is a pretty common practice in the fast fashion industry. In reference to the 'Designed in NY' tagline-- the brand may actually design a few pieces in house in NY, so that would be enough to make that claim true-ish. Lots of brands do this as well- especially when it comes to greenwashing. For example, if a product is 50% cotton, they'll add it to their "conscious" line because it's not technically not true. A fast fashion white lie of sorts haha. Hope this was helpful!

I think everyone needs to chill. I don’t think buying fur is a good thing, but I’m not going to sit here and attack someone over it. Cancel culture has become immature and ridiculous—expecting people to apologize for every little thing they do in life. Like, come on. We’re all human. I’m sure you make mistakes too. Stop acting so high and mighty. Let people live their lives and be happy. If you don’t like something, you don’t have to watch, comment, or engage—just move on. That’s how the world should work. But instead, it feels like things are getting worse because everyone is so quick to tear others down over minor things. This really wasn’t that big of a deal.

I'm an old lady and I'd be lying if I said I never wrote fur. Back in the 70s & 80s I wore my late grandmother's mink coat often. I made the decision to stop wearing fur when I saw how the animals were treated. I never advise anyone to research that UNLESS they haven't made that decision for themselves. It's horrifying but it will change your mind.

I'm a little sad about you buying a fur coat, even if the fur is only on the arms.... They treat foxes on foxes farm HORRIBLE just to be killed a few weeks later so someone can wear clothes. I'm okay with people buying secondhand fur because the animal is already dead but buying a new one is a no no for me. Good video.

They don’t put crystals on the back so nothing jabs you in the back while wearing it. That’s why the appliqué is wrapped around the back on the pink dress. That was flat, it won’t stab you or break so they can wrap it to the back.

I'm missing a section where she does some research on the brands... like seriously find some info on where they are registered, their sustainability practices, where clothing is made and shipped from, whether that is actually real fur on not.... She has a whole team, there is really no excuse for ''oh we bought it and then realised there were other websites selling the same stuff!''. It takes a couple of seconds to reverse image search. It only takes 30 seconds to educate your audience on manufacturing and sustainability practices for a brand you are making a video about.
