Had the same issue. Unfortunately my flux is out of warranty. Simple fix is to open the unit and apply belt spray to the belt. Its used in automotive and makes the belt significantly gripper. Make sure you careful with where you put the screws back as you can damage the internal magnets if you are not careful. its is a simple job though.

Mine has the same noise now.... after just 100-200 km :-(
