Does a bullbar impact the ANCAP safety rating?

Q: Bullbars are often fitted to utes. Does a bullbar impact the ANCAP safety rating?

The fitting of bullbars and other accessories can affect the crash performance (energy load paths / airbag and pre-tensioner firing times etc.). They can also affect the active safety systems (AEB, LSS sensors), and pedestrian protection performance.

it's a bugger that they aren't tested to see how the bullbar effects the crash.
if it would maintain or reduce the impact safety rating. Or if some bullbar designs are proven by ancap vs others.
