Did you anyone else drool while playing Cooking Mama? Welcome to my new series for May, where I share my favorite recipes inspired by my favorite game, Cooking Mama!

We will be making EXTRA CRISPY and CRUNCHY Tonkatsu - Japanese Fried Pork Chops to start the series. I tested five different methods for this recipe, and I promise that your Tonkatsu will be crispy every single time! Crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and dipped in homemade Tonkatsu Sauce. Cooking mama was my favorite growing up I used to try the recipes. That's how I learned to make omelets

this was delicious. i added a bit of mustard and msg to the batter and added the finished katsu to some japanese curry. was awesome!

Made this recipe exactly as she listed it and it was 👩‍🍳💋 This is now a staple weekday dinner. Special note about the Tonkatsu sauce, I want this on everything! Eggs, steak, chicken, veggies, etc.

This sauce is delicious!! I didnt use sesame seeds and i added 1 more TBS of ketchup to mellow out the Worcestershire sauce. The batter was kind of messy but holy crap it was crispy this way!!

This was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! I'm thinking next time, I'll try pork belly or Spam! 🤤 I leveled up my sauce by adding a tiny bit of fresh grated ginger, crushed garlic, apricot jam and chile crunch. It was delicious before I added those things, but I couldn't resist adding even more flavor.
