Fun Fact: L'Hermione was the same ship Marquis de Lafayette sailed to Yorktown during the American Revolutionary War and is said that Lafayette made a remark when landing at Yorktown saying "Washington. We are here". Now further on in the future during World War I. When France was compromised by Germany, it was said that under John J. Pershing's (who was a general in World War I) right hand command was sub commander named Colonel Charles E. Stanton. who muttered the words in sentence "Lafayette. We are here" when passing the tomb of the French hero Marquis De Lafayette,
