But its ok for them to make jokes about Pete Davidsons dad who died on 9/11? He was a good sport about it and actually made a joke about it himself. I think only comedians should do roasts cuz they don't care what you say.

the thing is about being 'offended' it's a personal thing it's not for anyone else to judge how offended somebody can be, I always say nothing offends me but then if something touched a nerve I'm sure id be fucked off aswell .I think if I'd gone through the grief of losing a friend for someone to make a joke about it I'd be angry but then again that is the whole point

It offended me, I loved Paul. Whole reason I got into cars was the 1st Film. Plus he was a great guy helpings the needy. It was too soon and the jokes only came cause Ludacris was there.

Its still too soon even in 2023.

Personally, it wasn't in good taste to pull a joke like that. He said there was more then one.

Whether you like Ari Shaffir or not he brought up a good point, he said something along the lines of what’s the difference between joking about something tragic sooner rather than later? I mean I guess it was still kind of raw but at the same time it’s kinda hypocritical because who decides whether or not something is “too soon” or not? Just wondering…

Comedians are bastards i never really liked them and their sense of humor.
How can somebody joke about dead person?
