Blue Finch Film Releasing presents Homebound in cinemas 1 April and on digital 4 April 2022. The debut feature from director Sebastian Godwin, a ‘Screen International Star of Tomorrow’, Homebound is a creepy and atmospheric chiller starring Aisling Loftus (A Discovery of Witches) and Tom Goodman-Hill (Humans).

When Richard decides to take his new girlfriend Holly home to meet his three estranged children, Lucia, Ralph and Anna, they soon discover his ex-wife missing and the children behaving strangely. As their actions become gradually more disturbing, Holly begins to unearth a dark and twisted secret.

Just watching this on BBC2 now. Apart from the fact that it's taking forever to get anywhere, at 1:28 when the girl wrings the swan's neck and gets blood on her face, the film uses an alternate take where she doesn't, and it's not as good. Beyond that, what a load of ballcocks. However, I understood the ending.

Most horror today is cheap, lazy formulas that can only at most manage to shock in between giggles. This was true horror. As soon as she meets the kids, and begins to see his "parenting", ice cold chills run down your spine.

I am so unbelievably piss at the ending. I watch for something actual to happen. N when it finally got to the dang point that had the audacity not to show it.
This movie makes absolutely no sense.

This movie is utter trash. I just spent money I earned renting it. Lost 100minutes of your life to some director thinking he made "satire" or knows horror. I never write reviews but I'm legit insulted by how garbage the score, acting, plot, and behaviors I witnessed were. It's impressive

This is the most wasted time of tv. Too slow too boring. VERY poor casting. One minute the girlfriend grows suspicious of her boyfriend’s kids and next the boyfriend goes ballistic. Then girlfriend ends up stuck in the house herself. Fabulous bravo 👏🏽
