Supercharging Holden V8s

We catch up with Danko at Adicted Performance where the team have recently pieced together a trio Holden V8 engines featuring COME Racing internals. We filmed two of these engines on the dyno, one using an older style Blower Shop 6-71 supercharger while the other features a Harrop TVS 2650.

I’m a Ford man through and through but you can’t beat the sound of the old Holden V8’s!! Let alone a stroked, blown version! Mate had C.O.M.E build him a 4.2 stroker back in the p-plate days (22 odd years ago) and that thing was rowdy too! As you said, great to see C.O.M.E still around!! 👌👌👌

Really its preference but having the control with everything on our newer tech i would never go backwards again - the TVS series superchargers as well are absolute dream

American here, is the holden v8 its own original design or based on a Chevy or ford small block? I thought Holden did stuff with Chevy but the exhaust manifold pattern looks more like sbf with it being equal spacing and the sbc having the two center ports closer together. Awesome vid the Australians definitely know how to do blown v8s right the burn out cars are some of my favorite cars on the internet.
