Nice video Leon, it’s great to see the Simplex+ in and amongst the Anglo Boer War finds.

Still our best selling detecter in 2021 by a long shot and for good reason as you have nicely explained.

The new SP24 Elliptical Coil, just takes the Simplex+ up a notch. I’m really enjoying that coil and my finds rate has improved as I get into all those tight spaces.

The Simplex is my first machine - I got it because of cost - and because it is fully waterproof, a must in Ireland! Anyway, as a novice, I have documented my trials and tribulations with the Simplex. One can watch as many videos as there are available but once you have the machine in hand is when the real learning begins.
I have to agree 1000% - the Simplex has to be the best machine for the price - the fun I have had is astounding! The only drawback - it's not that great in saltwater conditions... especially with high mineralisation and/ or hot rocks about!
One last thing - I got my machine after watching Merrill of Metal Detecting NYC and Arron of South Coast Detecting - they have loads of good content - and now, so do you! (There are others that also do great stuff... I follow many of the good folk!)
