Depending on the price, I'd personally just go for a used Force Feedback wheel. I am mainly a pc player, and I bought a thrustmaster T128X originally for my Series S but I set it up in my PC setup and it's been amazing, especially with Forza. It is not nearly as portable if thats what your going for, but you arent gonna go gaming on vacation unless you use a laptop.

i wouldnt buy any new controllers untill there listed as being supported on Xbox's website as nivember 1st microsoft began blacklisting all non authorised controllers from working on xbox if they havnt been verified by ms they will be deactivated

age of controller does not matter as its based on verification with microsoft and there not grandfathering in old controllers
