How to Teach Short Vowel Sounds

Показать описание
Vowel sounds can often blur together when children are learning them -- these simple hand motions will help your child connect their short vowel sounds to the letter names. Enjoy this early literacy time, and above all, don't place too much pressure on those little ones during the early years. They will learn at their pace! -Amy Smith, M.Ed.

Besides producing the same sound for a and e you have same wide open mouth. The short vowel e makes a different sound and forms a different mouth shape than short vowel a.

What about all the other sounds the vowels make? Like the phonogram "i" makes 4 different sounds.

Amy, me gustaría saber si me puedes regalar el listado de tus vídeos para aprender Inglés, paso a paso, despues de las vocales, cual seguiría, todo en escala, como los niños aprenden, gracias, para verlos todos.

Your e and a sound the same coz your e is wrong. You don't open your mouth that way.
