As an Android user, I'm legitimately happy that as each year goes by, iOS and Android honestly look more and more alike. Not in style much, but in terms of features and functionality.

I'm all about options, which is why I like Android to begin with, doesn't force me into one style of phone. But its nice to think I may one day be able to consider an iPhone for convenience sake with my family and not be sacrificing a lot of the options/menus/features I love from Android.

There doesn't need to be an OS war in my mind. Just the device that works best for each person at the time.

another GREAT informative The Verge video! even though I know pretty much every feature in iOS 11, I still instantly clicked on this video as soon as it came out because the videos are just awesome.

I wish multi tasking would come to iPhone sometime. my last phone was the note 4 and I really liked that feature.

I have the iOS 11 beta on my main iPhone 7 Plus and it works fine... just a minor issue with the app switcher but it doesn’t prevent me from using my phone. Improvements in the maps app is the best thing, I love all the new features it tells you the speed limit and it tells you want lane to stay on

I like the way they have tried their best to make the iPad Pro more functional. The use of two hands at once is intuitive to get things done, but we all know the quickest way of doing things (and has been for decades now) is using a mouse or trackpad. As soon as you add that capability to an iPad you have a replacement for your laptop...but they would never do that as their sales would drop massively in the laptop department and they would hate to be told they were copying the Surface Pro for the 1millionth time

Hope they're adding top to bottom split view on the iPad as well, but I highly doubt it. Would make split view much better when holding the iPad vertically.
