Ending a friendship hurts like hell. There's a point when you know this is the end but what hurts more is the realization that it's only you who is hurting, the other person moved on. A friendship of 10 years and people move on as if nothing happened. Watching this video made me realize I have been going through the phases of anger, grief and denial again and again, to the point that I thought I should consult a psychiatrist or else I'll lose my mind but I'm still holding on because nobody knows and no one will ever understand. a while ago I wrote this poem in my diary and really wanted her to read it so she knows what she did to me but I don't have the courage to showcase my emotions so I am just posting it here.
whenever I will look back,
I will see myself standing there alone,
she will look terrified, hoping that her friend will come soon
with hopes in her eyes, she will stand there for so long
her legs will give away and she will fall to the ground
Still her eyes filled with tears will wander around
no sign of anyone coming, not even a sound
Tired she will stop looking around,
with a heavy heart, the tears will fall to the ground
It will take some time, but the tears will dry out,
Nobody will know or maybe someone might find out,
The tears that dried up was the heart crying out,
No one heard her but I did,
Her heart was screaming, damn I’m so loud
No one saw but I did
Even the tiniest wound bled out,
Blood so dark, it painted the ground,
No one knows but I do
The scars embraced her,
if you watch for long, you might see them too

I lost a friend and I still miss them after 1 year 😔.
