Metito: We Will Pardon MRC Members Who Surrender

Police Commissioner Matthew Iteere says the ongoing operation against members of the Mombasa Republican Council will continue until sustainable peace is restored in the coastal region. After the government declared the secessionist group an illegal society, Internal Security Minister Katoo Ole Metito has meanwhile promised that MRC members who surrender voluntarily will be granted amnesty.
