Eddie hall was talking about this about how he did his 500kg deadlift. He knew this about the human brain and so he practiced and trained really hard to visualize that his kids were stuck under a car and he had to lift it off of them.

That’s why people enjoy watching people play games.

Their brains think they’re playing it.

When I was younger I swore up and down I had a memory of me in the bench seat running around in my mom’s Oldsmobile and my dad fixing something under the hood and the car randomly popping into reverse for some time and then slamming into a wall, and it felt so vivid and real that I can still see it in my head lol. Clearly no such thing happened but I can still replay it in my head and see the whole thing

First part is true. You can rewrite your own memories in your head with enough focus and "visualisation" WITHOUT needing to have any mental health issues. Anyone can do this. This is part of a technique for tricking a polygraph. The world does not, however, meet you and put things in your life just cuz you believe in them. The practice of "manifesting" things from nothing works because you are taking subconcious steps towards your goal if you want it over long enough pwriods of time and think about it enough. In the end, you made it happen, you just didnt realize you were doing it. No cosmic force is working for you when you "manifest" an outcome

That's what happens when people talk you down or bully you.

The sad part is that it extends to fake things you see on the internet...

i can really see myself that i hold in hands 10 stack of 100 euros bills, but 15 hours later of visualization, my brain doesn't understand where the money is gone?? i had it in my hand🥰 and now is gone😱

Wow, the idiots in here think its insane to imagine something that isn't reality. Its basically you can imagine yourself being rich without being rich and what you do find? That the feeling in imagination is no different then reality.

The inability to differentiate between real and imagined experiences holds significant implications for mental health. Individuals with conditions like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or anxiety disorders often struggle with differentiating past traumatic events from distressing memories or imagined scenarios.
