Today, Tesla is thriving while Volkswagen and Volvo struggle. Tesla’s Model Y might get a six-seater in China, and sales in Europe remain strong. Meanwhile, Volvo backed off its 2030 fully electric goal, and Volkswagen’s CFO warned they have only a year or two to fix their issues.

Tesla had a six seater Model X. The middle seats were individual and luxurious as opposed to a sofa. I guess it will most of the time be driven with the rear seats folded and passengers in the middle seats.

I always wonder why seats can be made but not as thick which takes up space. I bought a Model 3 Performance to set up for track racing. I will be putting a brand name Mountain Pass Performance racing seat they are comfortable and not thick. There is a trick to plug in an adapter to eliminate the error codes resulting from removing stock seats for racing seats.

What I am getting at is that racing seats are really thin yet comfortable so is there a way to make less thick seats yet be comfortable. Think of the extra room you can gain. Then adding extra seating in a Model Y makes sense.

Brian, I plan on lowering the Performance Model 3 which cost $3, 300.00. Install is only 2 hours or less

Volvo Cars and Volvo Trucks are these days two totally separate companies.

Volvo Cars is owned by Geely whereas Volvo Trucks is majority owned by swedes though I believe Geely has bought a minority share of the trucks.

You want more EV sales, require all new home construction to have a level 2 charging station. The hassle of charging makes EV less likely the choice for people to buy an EV. Make Charging an EV more easy. Offer home owners one great deal to install charging station. People that sell their homes need to retrofit their home with an EV level 2 charger.
