A friend of my moms was living in China, during the Tianamin protests. Her future husband dove into her apartment for safety from police, after protesting at Tianamin. He is now living here in the US. The only reason some of them survived, is because China didn’t have the tracking capability it does now.

I'm an Indian and I used to play Rust with some lovely Chinese people. I was a complete noob and while everyone else was being toxic to me, these people helped me learn the game, added me to their crew and treated me as their own. Thanks to those guys I have around 400+ hrs in Rust. I stopped playing after a while and I don't have contact with them and I don't know what happened to them but I hope they're alright. My heart goes out for all those innocent kindhearted people of China, they deserve better.

Glad to see you've got your voice back. For a country desperate to have more young people, they are bloody good at killing them off. The Chinese people are incredibly tough and resilient but at some point more and more will decide quality of life is more important than life at any cost. With such a large population they can go a long time squandering this precious resource, but in the end all empires collapse. Prayers for the dead, that young woman knew her fate.

I remember watching these protests. How brave they were to stand up to tyranny. Then poof! Gone. The past few weeks I've been thinking about them and wondering what happened. I just figured the media decided to go silent on it.
