Uranium-238 is fissionable but not fissile meaning it can't sustain a chain reaction but can be induced to fission. Uranium-235 is fissile and is the fuel required for a nuclear power station to work.

Why use water that has a boiling point of 100C when you can use ethanol with a lower bp. Wouldn't that save more energy??
