Benefits of vitamin C:
- Vitamin C is the #1 pro youth antioxidant and anti-inflammatory that reduces the signs of extrinsic aging while hydrating the skin.

- Inflammation and oxidation are leading causes of extrinsic aging. They lead to damaged and diminished collagen levels that leave the skin texture rough and contribute to uneven pigmentation and dark spots, deepening lines.

There are many forms of vitamin C. If you have found your skin sensitive to vitamin C, you are likely sensitive to Ascorbic acid. Choosing another form of vitamin C will be best for you.

Ascorbic Acid

Due to the strong exfoliating properties of ascorbic acid, this form of vitamin C tends to be most recommended for post-acne dark spots. However, this powerhouse vitamin C is not the best for those with sensitive skin, rosacea, or melasma unless in small percentages. Those that suffer from KP or Milia should also avoid this form.

Because this form of vitamin c is the least stable, look for formulas in a dark or opaque bottle with an airless pump.

*Ascorbyl Glucoside is a microencapsulated form of ascorbic acid that provides sustained release to prevent oxidation all day.

**Ascorbyl Palmitate is a non-acidic form of vitamin C firming and brightening and can penetrate deeper into the skin but must be stabilized by Ferulic Acid.

BV-OSC is a concentrated form of the component of vitamin C that increases collagen synthesis. This highly stable active form of vitamin C penetrates deeper into the skin to improve collagen synthesis 50% better than ascorbic acid. This oil-soluble form of C is excellent for those with dry skin and uneven pigmentation or dark spots. Over drying the skin contributes to hyperpigmentation.

MAP is one of the most stable forms of vitamin C and is safe for dry and sensitive skin types. We love that MAP prevents oxidation on the skin leading to fewer blackheads! MAP is one of the few vitamin C forms that play friendly with niacinamide. This water-soluble form of C is best in a base of water or hyaluronic acid.

I absolutely LOVE your comments about not wanting to go back in time. I have often said that though I would love to have a younger body, I wouldn't want to go back to that younger age to get it. The way you framed childbearing years vs birthing yourself was brilliant. What a great way to explain it. I hope your words might comfort someone I know who is worried about the upcoming empty nester phase of life.

Hi thank u for the breakdown of the products. I have a question. I looked up anteage accelerator and the original formula came up as well as the “MD” formula . They are different in prices and one bottle is blue and the other is white. What is the difference ? Do u know what kind of formula it is?

I’m using the RA C stem cell and my skin has been drying out and just started getting the hard white pimple that I’ve never had. Should I stop using this product?
