Lufkin and American pumpjacks in Darst Creek Field (Guadalupe County) producing from 2,650 feet in the Edwards Limestone formation. Field was discovered in 1929 by The Texas Company (Texaco) No. 1 Dallas Wilson. Field was completely controlled by majors including Humble, Gulf, and Magnolia. It was unitized upon discovery.
