Death Note: The Musical - “Where Is The Justice?”

Can you believe it? A song written within the last 8 years...a true first for this channel! Honestly this may be the first "modern-musical theatre" song I have ever done...certainly on this channel haha.

I recently finished the Death Note anime and absolutely loved it. I had been aware that a musical version had been written several years ago, and checked out some of the songs. This is the first big song in the musical and it's a fantastic song sung by Light Yagami which does a great job setting up his character and his feelings/beliefs which sets the course for the story.

Definitely check out the anime and show the musical some love too, while it's been staged in Japan and Korea it's not yet gotten an English-speaking production--but there's a easily found English demo recording worth listening to! Hope you all enjoy :)

Just as good as when you first posted it. And again, what a coincidence as I am down the Death Note musical rabbit hole lately. Definitely check out the clips from the Korean productions (2015 and 2017) they had great cast both times. And as I said again, I've been listening to Hurricane a lot so if you'd ever want to give it a try I'd be really happy!

Death Note brings me back of when I first read the manga when I was barely a teenager. Check it out if you have time it's worth it.
