Great review. Very comprehensive & easy to understand. Definitely would buy the Wolfcraft after seeing it in use & your identifying the pros & cons of each. Like the grip on it. Would make life much easier.

It certainly looks like a considerably better tool than the cheapo but at thirty-odd quid I'd still be humming and hahing in the shop. Still if this kind of dowelling is something someone might be doing a lot of then it's money well spent. Good review mate. Incidentally, your vids are getting better all the time, your presentation seems a lot more confident and you look like you're enjoying yourself - keep it up mate, that's a good job.

Great review I've often seen the wolfcraft dowel jig and wondered. I shall be getting one without hesitation now

Gave up doing a butt joint with it, couldn’t see alignment marks through the drill hole. Went down the pocket hole route instead

there is about 30 dollars difference. what people really want to know. is how strong is the plastic. and are the drill guides made of hard enough steel to last

Hi. Have u tried the 4650 0000 dowel system also from Wolfcraft? What is the difference from 4640?
