Saw it about 17 times in the theatres. Love that movie! Pamela Sue Martin is still beautiful.

I really loved Ernest Borgnine and his Linda in this movie. Shelley Winters too was perfect for her part. The lot of them did mesh so well. Great script and screenplay. This movie really grabbed me, literally

I graduated from high school a year later in 1973 and not long after became employed at my first job at a theatre in our small gulf coast town in Florida where this movie was still making the rounds. I can still remember making sure the movie title was correctly spelled and putting it high up on the Marquee one warm moonlit night. I watched this film over and over again during my time as an usher at the "Palm Theatre" (torn down many years later).I loved the movie, my job, and being young and innocent so long ago.

This movie had that great feel to it. One among many other great movies from the 70’s that stay with you for a lifetime.

An absolutely wonderful movie... they just don't make these kind of movies anymore..( sadly )... Each actor / actress played their parts to perfection.. thanks for sharing...!!!

This is my favourite movie of all time. Crazy to think how old this is though. Sadly most of the actors are no longer here...

This is the movie that made me fall in love with Stella Stevens. I emailed with her back in the 2000's. She was so nice. I had no idea she was 80. WOW does that make me feel old. lol I was 9 when that movie came out. Thanks for posting.

I remembering watching this movie at the drive in when it first came out in San Jose . I was a little kid at the time and my dad who has since passed on would take us all in the station wagon, my two brothers and sister, and mother too. For snacks my mother would give us boloney sandwiches because times were hard back then just as now . I and my brothers and sister would fool around in the back seat as kids would do but we all had a good time because we were all together as a family. Those were good times back then and oh how I miss them .

These were some REAL ACTORS ‼️
There are only a small handful of actors of this caliber today.
Each one of these were amazing ❗️
And it was an amazing film. The performances are what really made it.
Mom told me to see this movie when I was 11 years old. I’ll not forget it.
Roddy McDowall was already a favorite actor to me, but Shelly Winters and Carol Linley were quickly added to my list.
📻🙂

The years fly on, no stopping them. Seems like yesterday and yet so long ago. These videos are so sad.

What a cast of talent among many. It played on TV in 1974 after being a box office smash earlier that decade. I, my brother and our dad all watched it that Sunday night back in '74 and I still love this great movie.

Love this movie. Can watch it over and over again. I loved the Ernest Borgnine character when his wife fell into the water. To me it was another Academy award winning performance. And Also the reverend Gene Hackman's character before he fell and died. They were all great in that movie

I just watched this movie with my kid along with the 2006 remake. This was by far the better of the two.
