Monster Hunter World: Missing Quests?

A quick look at why some of the quests are missing on the Optional list, couldn't find much information online so thought I'd share this with you.

TLDR - Make sure you have caught every monster as they each have an Arena quest once you have caught them.

I'm HR 59 and you're video just solved the last problem I hadn't been able to figure out lol thanks! I tried capturing the missing ones in expeditions and didn't get the quest so I was like OK WTF? The wiki says you need to capture them to trigger the optional quests but it didn't specify that the captures had to be capture QUESTS.

If you're still missing quests. Remember it's easy to forget the research center exist. So there may be a quest to turn in there. I also see a lot of comments about hr 6. It's likely the randomly occurring zorah quest

I captured all monsters at least one time but still miss some quests

Next use white texts to describe your thoughts or ideas red texts are hard to see on smaller devices

i found your vid, but i have still problem. i have complete till 3star quests in optional four till 9 is not "complete" i capturing most of monsters but the quest is shown and then after 5 minutes is missing and i must quest do again. In 5 start i dont have odogaron special arena quest i go to expedition capture odogaron and all these quest from 4stars quest is gone. Sorry for my english i hope somene will be understand what i mean. im 53HR with whole story.
