Thanks for your amazing videos. Longtime fan. How can I then use a transition with the text layer? Like a dissolve in? Whenever I use it, it reveals the underlying layer for a few moments before the text effect happens. Thank you.

Edit: I realized if I add the effect to the video layer instead of the text layer, it works perfectly. Bolshoi Sposiba.

is there any way to blur the video behind the text? without aactually blurring the text? I tried using adjustment layers and applying a gaussian blur directly to the video as well, but the text always comes out blurry.
