I personally don’t judge Maddie for trying her best to let this part of her life go. she was just a child, showing clear signals of extreme anxiety because a grown woman is telling her to disobey her own mother, plus the entire pressure to be absolutely perfect all the time, betray friends sometimes, lie… this is too much for an adult, and she was just a little girl! so messed up…

Honestly one of the most sickening scenes from the show. This is hardcore gaslighting. I can't believe people say that Abby treated Maddie well. She may not have been constantly screaming at Maddie like the other girls, but she hurt her just as much in other ways. She was constantly manipulating her, putting intense amounts of pressure on her, and isolating her from her loved ones through continuous gaslighting.

Explanation for this clip:
Basically all of the mothers decided that they weren’t gonna come in rehearsal and neither were their kids. Abby noticed that no one was in rehearsal and saw that everyone was sitting outside so Abby called girls that auditioned for the Abby Lee Miller group and they came and rehearsed instead of the og’s . A couple weeks later, the og’s came back and they started rehearsing instead of the new group and the new group ended up going up against Abby’s og team that weekend and the next week, Maddie wanted to talk to Abby and ask her if she could have a solo but Abby said no and cried because Maddie wouldn’t get out of the car and go rehearse and Maddie cried too because it wasn’t her fault she had to stay in the car and she also cried because she didn’t have a solo.
