Thought about using an RPi3 in my old honda for a HUD and digital dash. Pretty cool library for Python 3 called pythonOBD.

I currently have a nano with a built-in oled display. Does the sh1106 have a brightness control feature? Would a sh110x work on a sh1106?

Hi Rita, Great content! Just one hint about the USB ports. What about using a RPi to program the Arduino to avoid risking your Mac's ports? I learnt it the hard way while making a Z80 homebrew computer. :) Cheers

I want to do exactly this project, I'm not able to install the libraries because of the M1 chip. What's the solution?
