I can't see Microsoft EVER selling off Xbox, not even to the Saudi's, who realistically are the only ones who could afford it seeing as the Xbox division is worth close to $1trn when you add on a premium.

There is no way MS should sell Xbox to anyone, Phil and the Xbox team are doing everything Xbox players want. They're getting ALL the games, repairing the JRPG game deficiency, buying studios / publishers. This right here is just another example of Xbox doing the right moves for the future. To be honest I don’t see the future mainline FF games coming to Xbox just the side projects of Square Enix and other franchises I could be wrong but the last couple skipped Xbox for a reason and it wasn’t bad business dealings

It doesn’t really matter the bigger titles are probably not coming to Xbox. The truth is the people on Xbox don’t buy square games so it will be short lived any partnerships with Microsoft. You can use yourself as a perfect example you have a PS5 and you still gonna buy FF 16.
