My landlord is an Arab, and he has exceptional gaslighting skills. He made me clean my entire apartment by myself after he finished some renovations. This is even before I moved in, so naturally the norm is landlords will get the apartment professionally cleaned before offering them to new tenants. I had to clean cement off the floor, the cabinets, and the bathroom tiles.🙃

I got a snack bundle from the cinema - where the picture included the small popcorn, small soft drink, and 375g M&Ms - and so when I was handed a 125g pack instead the negotiations began.
I got my 375g M&Ms.
As did the person behind me.
That snack bundle was rather popular that night.

Next day, there's a sticker with "125g" sitting over the 375g area of the original image.
