Drum Samples - Converting Audio To Midi In Cubase Pro

In today’s video I will show you how to sample replace drums, and specifically, create MIDI notes from your actual drum audio within Cubase Pro

Converting drum audio to MIDI data in Cubase is fairly easy to do, and this is my go-to method for any type of sample replacement.

Most DAWs have a feature that will do this, so even if you use a different recording software, the actionable steps remain the same: Create - Align - Convert - Adjust Velocities.

you could simply sample then slice and drag the slices back into the sample track. takes a few seconds.

Is there a way to convert a single audio drum track (extracted from a song, so with all the drum pieces) to midi?

Thanks for the tut. But is there any chance of you making a tut. using Reaper?, kind of new at this game. Thanks again for your work.

Can Cubase 13 Pro separate drums from a composite stereo mix with other instruments and vocals? Or can any other decent software besides Cubase?

Is there any way to do this directly inside Cubase with just a stereo drum track

10 min tutorial that could be done in 3 !!! You don't have to adjust hit points manually, after you covert to midi you can quantize !!!
