In this calculus video I will show you what is the integral test for series and how and when we can use it to test convergence and divergence of a series. In the integral test, we suppose the sequence as a function.
The function should be continuous, positive, and decreasing.
If the Integral converge then the series converge.
If the Integral diverge then the series diverge.
So the series and the integral have the same behaviour.
