My stepdaughter’s baby.
She developed diabetes during pregnancy.
She makes toys out of food and the baby eats the toys, always high carbohydrate foods.
The baby is 11 months old and weighs almost 30 pounds.
She breast-fed for the first few months but quit.
The baby started eating solid food at six months.
The mother and father are both obese.
It’s so sad to know that this child, who will become an adult, is being sentenced to a life of disease, teasing, insecurities, obesity.
No one in the family feels like they can say anything to her because she’s very combative.
